Vault 3.0, Mono and OS X

Would Vault 3.0 (the CMC) work with Mono on OS X?

If I recall there was some sort of bug that prevented this from working.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work yet. We plan to get it fixed soon (in a 3.0.1, for example).

The problem is that Vault has a few places where endian assumptions accidentally slipped in.

Since we are up to 3.0.7 or something, has this been fixed? Specifically, does the command line version work on OSX yet?

No, sorry. It's now on the Vault 4.0 wishlist. I'll bump it up in priority.

Agreed -- there will be a 3.1 release. We'll try to make sure this item gets done for 3.1.

But it would still be the command line version right? I think it is going to be easier to remote desktop to XP & check out using the gui to a shared drive than it will be to remember all the command line arguments.

Yes, we're talking only about the cmdline client right now.

We are actively working on a solution to bring Vault with a UI to non-Windows platforms, but there isn't much to say yet.
