Vault 3.0.5 Upgrade

Tried to upgrade from Vault 2.0.3 to 3.0.5.

On specifying that I want to keep existing database, the installer failed with following message:

Checking the installed database version...OK
Ensuring that sgvaultuser has access to the Vault database...The login 'sgvaultuser' already exists.
Vault Setup is exiting due to a failure or cancellation. Error Code = -1280

Any ideas on fixes or workarounds?

Is it possible your login to SQL Server does not have administrative rights to remove / drop the sgvaultuser? The installation tries to recreate this account, and if that fails, the install fails as well.

If you can remove sgvaultuser from the database manually, and drop the login from SQL Server's logins, the upgrade script should be able to succeed. If you need me to elaborate more please let me know.
