Error checkin

Post by Carlos » Thu Mar 10, 2005 10:23 pm

I m using Vault Sever/Client 3.0.4. I was waorking on my project, then, I decided to check in everything(that was used). The checkin command was in the conextmenu, but checkin in did not make any changes, I had to checkin file by file. What ahppened?

Thanks.

Were there any error messages in the messages tab when you tried to checkin your changes?

Is it possible that there was a conflict in the pending change set, such as trying to edit and rename a file in the same changeset?

If one item in the changeset has a problem, nothing in the changeset gets committed.

No. there were no error messages. When I checked in one by one there were no errors. What could the problem had been?

It's hard to say at this point. It could have been a conflict in the change set.

How did you try to "checkin everything."? Did you try to commit the pending change set, checkin a folder or checkin a list of highlighted files?

Can you reproduce the problem? If so, let us know the steps you took leading up to it.
