I have a setup using Vault 3 (We recently upgraded.) running on an MSDE SQL db. I have six users.
A few backs I obliterated three files which had been deleted by a user. A remote user has logged in over our VPN today and these three files are appearing again in his listing in the project folder they were in before they were obliterated.
No other users see these files, no amount of refreshing, rebooting the users laptop etc will remove these files from the listing.
Any ideas?

The user is most likely seeing "ghosts" of the files from his client side cache.
The user should close any Vault clients he has open (GUI, IDE). Then delete the client-side cache in %appdata%\SourceGear\Vault_1. It might help to restart IIS on the server side, to make sure the server sends a new file list to the Vault Client when it's opened again.
