Windows 2000 Pro vs. Server

I have been running SOS Collab on Windows 2000 Pro with MSDE (only 5 users so it is no problem).

I know the official line is that Dragnet+Vault must be on a Server, but can I actually run it on 2K Pro? Thanks.

Vault/Dragnet will run on a Win2K Pro machine (we have it on our Tech Support workstations), though non-server machines may not have adequate resources for satisfactory performance in a production environment.

If you're having installation problems, then that's probably a configuration issue dealing with the ASPNET account, .NET Framework, directory permissions, etc. I've been in contact with one of your colleagues regarding troubleshooting any installation issues on Win2k Pro.
