Using SOS 4.0 licenses for SOS 3.5.1

Greetings!

I am having 10 SOS 4.0 client licenses whereas server has got SOS 3.5.1. This is the reason I am not able to use same. Can I, by some means, revert back to 3.5.1 client licenses for time being and afterwards upgrading my server license to 4.0 and use my current one.
If reverting back is possible, please let me know the process.

If you can't update your SOS Server, contact our sales department, sgstore@sourcegear.com and ask for 3.5 licenses.
