Hi,
One of my projects that I've put into Vault contains an empty subfolder. When I check out the entire project recursively Vault doesn't create the empty folder on my hard disc. Is this by design? Or is it a bug?
Note that I fill the empty folder after check out with files that I don't want to put under source control. But I do want the folder itself to be added to Vault. Currently I've put a placeholder file in the empty folder, so it will be created when I check out this placeholder file. But I'm not satisfied with this solution.
Check out empty folder doesn't work?

What's the Speed of Dark?
Definitely a bug...
... I've been able to reproduce this using both the Windows client and from within VS.NET 2003. In both cases, the empty folder is created on a get latest, but is not when a recursive checkout is run.
I'll log this as a bug.
