Hi, following is the topic and reply I posted on your normal support forum. I have tried what was suggested and am still having the same problem.
Any ideas??
Post subject: Installing VaultServer_3_0_2 on a Windows Server 2003:
When I try and do this I get an error saying that I have the wrong version of the .Net Framework. The version on the 2003 machine is 1.1.4322.573
Any ideas???

Make sure everything is set up correctly on your Windows 2003 machine. See the following KB article:

If you have performed all of the steps outlined above, try running "aspnet_regiis.exe -i" from your 1.1 framwork directory. This directory is usually located at c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322

We are not sure know why the installer can't find ASP on your machine.
We do have many users installing and running Vault on Windows 2003 sucessfully.
Do you have any other applications that use the .NET framework on that machine? It could be that there is a problem with the .NET framework on that machine.
The following KB article from Microsoft contains information on troubleshooting .NET framework issues on Windows 2003.

The installer package that we use does the check for ASPNET version (that functionality is built into the installer software). I have put in a support request with them to see if they have any ideas why this is happening. I will let you know what I find out from them as soon as they get back to me.

Yes
I do have a value at that reg key. It is
Name: 4322
Value: 3706-4322
In the meantime we are going to rebuild that machine and we'll keep you updated on the result.
Thanks again.
Chris.
