Vault Website hanging

Post by Jerame » Wed Feb 02, 2005 11:19 am

The last couple of weeks, our vault website has been hanging. It looks as though the vault website is going from about 150 mb of ram that it usaully is at, and now is sucking up what's left in the system and freezing around 850mb.

I have seen the following error in the log:
Critical Error downloading file! Exception of type System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown.

I have 2 Gig of memory in this server, but do have some other websites running on it.

Server Info:
Windows Server 2003 Standard, all patched up
Dual 3 Gig PIII Xeon Processors
2 Gig of ram

Vault version 2.0.6.2219

Like I said, this problem just started in the last two weeks or so, and we've been running vault for over a year now on this same box, same config.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at your vault.config file. There will be an xml element for treemanagersize. Try setting this to 25, and then restart the Vault server.

If this does not solve the problem, click the email button on any one of my postings, and give me an update.
