Upgrade Questions

In previous upgrades of the server I remember having to rerequest my license keys... Is that a required step for an upgrade from 1.2.2 to 2.0.1?

If so where can I request these keys before I install?

On another note is there any list of know issues during upgrade installation like; can't upgrade the database from 1.2.2 to 2.0.1?

I want my upgrade to go as smoothly as possible.

You license keys are stored in the Vault database, so they should still be there after you install the upgrade.

The upgrade to 2.0.1 should go smoothly. Of course you should always back up your database before you upgrade or reinstall Vault.

You shouldn't have to re-request keys for upgrades to 2.x, and upgrades from 1.2.2 should work fine - there are no known issues between 1.2 and 2.0

If you are concerned about licenses not re-activating, we can always send you a temporary license that will work if there are problems after the upgrade (while the license issue is being worked out). Send me email if you want to set this up, and give me identifying info about your purchase.
