Best practice for storing _sgvault folders

According to the help files it is recommended that the _sgvault folders are stored in the users application data directory rather than in the working directory folders. Please can you tell me why this is your recommendation?

When it is stored in under the working folders, a search for text in files will search in the baseline files too, and sometimes people end up editing the wrong file.

There is nothing wrong with having them stored in the working folder though. We just get more complaints from users when they are
