Server is unavailable to end transaction - small files

Post by cpdaniel » Fri Jan 21, 2005 12:53 pm

I'm trying to import a relatively small portion of a VSS database (something like 64 files and 250 revisions), but I'm getting this error on what appears to be every revision of every file exception rev 1.

Details:
1. Vault 2.0.6
2. Files are small - largest is 4.5Mb, but most are only a few Kb.
3. I've run the import utility on the server and also on another machine - same results
4. The vault repository is in daily production use (although no other access is going on during this import). No other problems are ongoing.
5. A folder with the same name as the imported project exists in the repository but it's deleted.
6. I've tried to obliterate the deleted project, but obliterate fails, claiming that branch(es) of some files exist at '' (at nowhere, that is - no path is displayed, no other deleted files from any branch of this project exist)
7. Import log and server log are attached.

Carl,

Email me your phone number using the button below this post. There's something going on here.

We figured it out - turning off Expand Keywords on the target repository allowed the import to succeed. Thanks, Jeremy!
