Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any tips, ideas, warnings, etc. concerning utilizing Vault in a continuous integration environment.
We recently began using Vault as our source code control provider in order to enable our developers to work concurrently. The move has paid off in spades.
One of our next internal projects however, is going to be significantly larger than we are used to, and we will have multiple developers working concurrently on it for an extended period of time. Fortunately, we have some room to experiment with our development process as we approach the project and I have been particularly keen on sorting out continuous integration (see article: http://www.martinfowler.com/articles/co ... ation.html) as a potential addition to our process.
I have been researching Draco.NET and CruiseControl.NET lately and have noticed that they can directly or indirectly (i.e. through a NAnt bootstraper) support Vault. I was curious if anyone has had any experience in using Vault with these tools, or better yet, if anyone has rigged up their own solution using Vault. Or even better still, if Sourcegear might have anything in the works for the future. (hint hint )
Any input would be excellent, thanks.
