$History$ keyword expansion bug

Post by MarcusB » Thu Jan 13, 2005 5:46 pm

We have found a bug in the way Vault expands the $History$ keyword when checking in files.

The date that Vault uses when writing the history log is NOT the check-in date, but is the checkin date of the previous version.

Could you please address this ASAP, as our history logs are now incorrect.

We are using Vault 3.0.1.

Thanks,
Marcus

It actually uses the file modification time, rather than the checkin time, which should make it slightly off from checkin time. It should use checkin time, and is on our TODO list. We'll add you to the list of folks requesting this change.
