"Detect Deleted files to remove.."
I find the "Detect New Files to Add..." a very handy option in vault. After a week of working on a new feature, I can't always remember all the new files I have created.
This also holds true for deleted files and a like way to detect them and mark them for removal would be VERY beneficial to my team.
Currently we have to "Show Differences..." and navigate through hundreds of folders looking for files or folders which have been deleted to they can be marked as such in the repository.
Is there a simpler way to do this or is this the only way?
Even if I could sort / filter in the SGDM so all of the “left” files are at the top in directory order it would make things easier.
A ‘best practices’ on submitting changes with file deletes, changes and additions in the working folders would be appreciated. We work in CVS mode.
Suggestions are warmly welcomed,
Brett Slaski

Currently, there isn't a way to apply a delete to all the files at once - you'll have to double-click the file in the status search pane to go to the entry in the tree, and then delete it from there.
We've had lot of requests to be able to do any arbitrary operation from the status search pane, and I'll add your "vote" for this.

What it takes to get something into a release is a closely guarded, byzantian formula that involves a lot of incantations, secret bank accounts, ritualistic developer screaming, and a bit of chaos theory.
