Listing Files in Changesets (including their folders)

Post by johnrusk » Wed Jan 12, 2005 1:52 pm

When I list the files that are in a changeset, the Vault GUI shows me the file names, but not which folders those files were in. Am I missing something (or is Vault ;-)) ?

There should be a column for repository path - It is on the right hand side of the change set details.

Also, the "Item" description should give you an absolute full path to the file on your local disk.

Opps, I didn't make myself clear in the original question. Yes, that information is shown in "Pending Change Set". My question relates to the Version Details dialog, that's accessible when viewing the history of a file or folder. It lists "Files modified as part of this changeset", but it doesn't show any folder information for those files.

I see.

Yes, this information is missing from the history details.

Thanks for confirming that Jeff. Can I suggest that the "missing" information would make a good addition to a future release. :-)

Regards,

John

I've created an enhancement request for this.
