It would be nice that when a new version of the product comes out I could install that version on the server, then when a client attempts to login they would get a message saying that they need to update to the new version of the client. The best thing would be the updating would happen automatically when they log in, but just a plain notification would help out a lot.

I'll add that a feature request.
One minor feature we do have that will help only slightly is that you can download the client installer from any installed server.
Go to http://[server]/VaultService, and there is a link from there to the client installer. So, you can send the URL out to everyone after the upgrade, and they can get the installer from the server.
