Is it possible build a mac os x client to vault strictly through web services?

We've been asked about using web services for clients and this has been the answer:

Unfortunately we don't have a solution on the client side either, when it comes to Mac. The Vault Unix command line client works on Unix with Mono.

There is a version of Mono for Mac, but it is not yet compatible with Vault. Vault currently only works on little-endian platforms (PowerPC is big-endian). We hope to fix this in a future release, but don't have a timeline as yet.

As of Vault 3.1, the Vault Command Line Client is supported on Mac with Mono.

Is it possible to run the gui client on Mac with Mono? If not, is that support planned for the future?

We have a Mac GUI Client logged as a feature request, but don't currently have a timeframe for implementation. I'll add your "vote."
