Maybe there is a way Vault can do this but I'm not handling this correctly.
If someone renames a file from VS IDE or on disk
Vault loses track.
The problem is, it is very hard to use Refactor tools that rename a class for example they may automatically rename the file.
I understand this is Tricky problem because you may have several files that you renamed and you don't know who is who.
Is this an impossible problem?

Renaming on Disk or VSIDE not caught by Vault
Running 3.0.1 with gold support
Yea, I think this is a problem that is beyond the scope of Vault. I can't think of a good way to definitively identify a renamed file on disk as having once been the same file as one in Vault.
However, if you do rename a file in Vault, it should be smart enough to rename that file on a Get Latest to another client.
