Item caused the transaction to fail: The object ID is invali

Hi,

I have a problem when I am trying to commit a certain file. The log looks like this:

12/16/2004 2:47:41 PM] Beginning transaction
[12/16/2004 2:47:41 PM] Item xxxxxxxxxx caused the transaction to fail: The object ID is invalid.
[12/16/2004 2:47:41 PM] Transaction failed

I am using Vault 3.0.1. I have already tried to delete the file and adding it to Vault again, but it still doesn't work.

Is there any way to fix it?

Problem solved: I deleted the data from C:\Documents and Settings\Hans\Application Data\SourceGear\Vault_1\Client and it works again.

Seems something was wrong with the baseline files

I had a similar problem with the same version:

It said that the transaction failed, because the id and the object already existed in the folder. The message didn't make sence to me at all,

but Hans' solution worked!
