Hi,
We have receive a serial number for 25 extra licenses. The email said:
Thank you for placing an order with SourceGear!
Order Number: xxxxx
Order Date : Wednesday, 05 January 2005
Here are the product serial numbers associated with your purchase:
25 Vault user license(s)
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
25 Vault Gold Subscriptions, expiring on 05 January 2006
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
I open Vault Admin tool, License, Add. Paste in the new serial and got the error message:
The License number entered is not a valid Vault license number
Question1: why?
Question2: now we have two serial numbers. One with the initial 50 licenses and this new one. Will the new one cumulate with the previous one?
Question 3: is there any way to merge the two serials to simplify the administration?
Thanks.
How to add extra licenses

Your previous posts indicated you were using Vault 2.0.6. The serial numbers you purchased are for Vault 3.0, which is the current release. They don't work for Vault 2.0.
If you don't plan on upgrading right away, you can downgrade your new Vault licenses at this link:
https://store.sourcegear.com/sgstore/va ... grade.aspx
Your Vault 3.x licenses will still be valid when you decide to upgrade to Vault 3.0.
Note that when you upgrade, you would need to upgrade the initial 50 licenses to 3.x.
