How do i Force Checkin?

Hello,
One of my peers had his hard drive die out on him, and he had files checked out at the time. I need to force undo checkout on all of his previous work.

My first question is how do i go about doing this.

I am assumign that i have to log in as an administrator, however our current administrator is out of town and unavailable.

This is a very immediate concern of mine and any help is appreciated.

The force undo check out should be done by an administrator using the administrator tool or webpage (depends on version).

Did the user have those items exclusively checked out?

Do you by any chance have admin rights to the SQL server?

Which version of Vault are you on?

We're bouncing around a few ideas here, but I'll need more information from my two posts before we can give a solution.
