This is not a Vault issue per say, but I was hoping that someone could comment on any ramifications. I am running Vault at home and want to connect to it while on the road and would like to avoid spending the $50 or so for an SSL certificate given that it will only be me connecting to it. If I self publish using either Win2003 or Win2008, what kind of issues will I have on the client end?
Thanks,
-Andy
Self Generated SSL Cert

Answering my own question here:
I used SelfSSL.exe to generate a "test" certifiate. Part of the MS Win2003 Resource Kit.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/840671
I then browsed to the site on the client machine and added the certificate as a trused site. I was then able to connect via the Vault client without issue.
