Fonts in KDE3.1.4

Post by DrTuner » Thu Apr 22, 2004 8:01 am

I just installed the 4.0 professional client and noticed that the fonts are pretty awful looking in my KDE. I tried changing them in the KDE control center, no luck, and there doesn't seem to be an option in SOS to change the fonts. Is there any way to define the fonts in the GUI ?

SourceOffSite does not use the KDE or Qt libraries--instead, it uses the Gtk library. To change the fonts in the SOS client, you'll need to change your Gtk theme or the change the fonts in your current Gtk theme.

If you have the Gnome desktop installed, the "gnome-control-center" lets you change your fonts and theme. You can also download other tools (like gtk-chtheme) that help automate the theme-changing process.
