I am not receiving e-mail notifications of modifications to existing item comments. All other e-mail notifications are working, e.g. new items, modifying items, adding comments, etc.
Is this by design or is it a bug or similar?

Are you sure you're getting email notifications when adding comments?
I think email notifications are sent only for modifications that involve a commit, like adds, deletes, edits, etc. Comments are modified in History, and I don't believe that triggers an email.

I receive e-mail notification of new comments.
The mails include the text 'has commented on' in the first line.
If the comment is modified no mail is received.
If this is by design please can you add it as a Feature Request as this has caused us a problem the other day by a vital change to a comment not filtering through to the Assignee.
