Error when connecting the SourceOffSite4.1.2 server remotely

Hi all,

when i tried to connect the sourceoffsite 4.1.2 server through the internet from a remote site, it throws me a error "Exception during Login: QueryInterface for interface SourceSafeTypeLib.IVSSDatabase failed." pls help on this issue as soon as u can.

The error indicates there's a problem with the VSS automation component. SOS Server needs this to communicate with the VSS database.

Make sure a VSS client is installed on the SOS Server machine. You may also need to make the database's srcsafe.ini file writable.

If this doesn't help, send a copy of the SOS Server log (log.txt in the SOS Server directory) to linda at sourcegear.com.

One more thing -- let me know what copy of the automation component SOS Server is using. Details here:
