3.5 Woes

After upgrading to 3.5 the vault add-in for Visual Studio has the following issue. "The current source control operation cannot be completed. The source control plug-in returned the following error: Access failure." The client tool works fine seperatly. How can I resolve this issue. I need to get source control working on my laptop. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

lbauer replied: There may be some binding issues. I would suggest backing up your files and doing a fresh open from source control into clean working directories.

My reply: I have tried that and it did not work. I even deleted the entire local copy. I also completely uninstalled all source gear products and reinstalled them to no avail.

I had no problems prior to 3.5 with vault working on the same machine.

Are you running other projects besides the one you can't open? If so, are those working fine?

Have you tried opening the project from another machine?

One thing you could try doing is delete the cache files after an uninstall to ensure there is nothing left over that could be affecting the reinstall.
