Failed Merge

I experienced the following problem when attempting to perform a merge. I have done several merges before and this is the first time I have ever had this problem.

The error message is below. All help is greatly appreciated.

To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

Looks like a problem communicating with the database. Check the Vault Server log file (%\windir\temp\sgvault) to if there are errors which correspond to the time of the failure.

It turns out that my DBA was running a long running process and as a result the database was very slow to respond.
