I'm having difficulty getting SOS Client (was 3.5, now 4.0) to work through CheckPoint's VPN-1 SecuRemote software using a D-Link DI-624 router.
I can keep the same setup and move to a Linksys BEFSR41 router and everything is fine, but as soon as I switch back to the D-Link, SOS is the only thing that quits responding. I get the "Unable to connect to server" error.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

if the server has echo (ping) turned on, can you traceroute or ping the server from your client machine?
OR
if you know your server's port number try telnetting or using a browser to connect to the sos server. (telnet machine port OR http://machine:port)
somehow, the d-link must not be forwarding your request.
