fogbugz file associations missing with multiple projects

Post by zumafan » Fri Jan 13, 2006 6:16 pm

We have a single Visual Studio 2003 ASP.NET web project solution with multiple projects and SourceGear Vault 3.1.2 (server and clients).

We have FogBugz 4.0.31 for Windows.

Here’s the problem: When we check in files from multiple projects with VS2003 and link the checkins with a case # in fogbugz, it only associates source files from one of the projects and seems to ignore the rest. I guess vault is not sending the complete list of files over?

So to clarify, the list of associated files in the fogbugz case only contains the file(s) from a single project, and any file(s) from the other projects are not shown.

Is this expected behaviour, or is there some way we can “enableâ€

clarification

that should read:

"When we check in files from multiple projects with VS2003 and link the checkin with a case"

As in "single checkin", where the files are all checked in as part of a single changeset.

This behavior was fixed in 3.1.3. You should upgrade your clients to the latest version of Vault. If you can't upgrade, see the following post for a some workarounds:
