Installing from V1.1 to V3.

Post by mgoodenow » Wed Dec 21, 2005 10:46 am

Just downloaded the latest version and was upgading from V1.1... to the latest version. It appeared to install fine but when I go to the web link to do a test connection I get the error below. I have not reboot. I am using my domain administrator account which should have complet privelage over the box. I believe it was using an an account created by Vault 1.1 before.

Source Vault is down now. I need help as soon as possible.

What operating system is Vault installed on?

The first thing to check is whether VaultService is configured as an application in IIS. Check the VaultService properties to see if the Create button is enabled. If it is, click it to configure VaultService as an application.

You might get a better error message from the server machine itself, using http://localhost/VaultService to access your VaultService page.
