Move folders or files between repositories

I know a lot of requests for this feature have been entered, and I know it's on your development horizon. Any news on when it might show up? I have an actual need to do this (a one time need). Any way it could be done in a manual way? Is this feature just a few months out? That would help us answer some internal questions.

This feature is slated for Vault 4.0, due out next year, but we don't have anything more specific.

You can do a Get from on repository and add these files/folders to the new repository. Everything will be at Version 1, though you could still refer to the history in the first repository if you wanted to retrieve something historical.
