Bug in 2.0.6? Cannot nullify the working folder...

Post by Jaeyoun Yi » Tue Dec 28, 2004 1:05 am

Hi, I'm using Vault 2.0.6 client.

When I set a working folder to a folder which is different from the inherited path,
How can I restore the working folder to the inherited path?

For example,
The repository has a tree as follows:

Code: Select all

    $
    +- A (Working folder: c:\A)
        +- B (Working folder: d:\B)
i.e., B is a sub-folder of A in the repository, but not in working folder.
And I want to restore the working folder of B to inherited one (or, c:\A\B)

As I know, the previous version can restore the working folder by setting the B's working folder with an empty string.
But, in the version 2.0.6, the folder-selecting dialog does not accept the empty string!!!
(on Windows XP pro Korean, I'm not sure English XP does same.)

Coursely, I may set the working folder of every sub-folder of B to proper one, one by one..., but it's too tedious if B has an enourmous sub-tree!
And unfortunately this is my case...

Please, let me know the method, as soon as possible..

Best regards,
Jaeyoun Yi, Ph.D.

Thanks you for informing the technique around 'Network Neighborhood'..
It was so really helpful for me!!

And now, I just want to know if there will be further upgrades around 2.x, not only for 3.x.

Sorry - there are no plans for further 2.0.x releases.
