Get Label doesnt get all files

Post by Jon Hart » Fri Dec 17, 2004 1:08 pm

I have applied a label to the root project folder in the repository ( ie: one level down ).

When I look at the label and view its contents I can see the files within the heirarchy, with the versions that I want.

When I get the label it only grabs a few new files. There are files left with old versions, and the vault client knows that they are old ( status is 'old' ).

I cant see any options that will let me force the label get to be recursive.
( Whats the difference between the label and recursive label tabs in the show label dialoge? - I tried getting from both of them ).

There was a bug in version 3.0.0, where get on a label would not be able to fetch all files. Could you try again with version 3.0.1? If the probelm is still happening, please reply.

We wont be upgrading to 3 untill after xmas. Too much work to attempt to interrupt a critical service.

If the labeled files are older than the latest version on the repository, then when you get them, the files on your machine are an older version than the latest version in the repository, and so are marked old. Could that be what's happening here?
