Unhandled exception when comparing .h

Hi,

I've recently had DiffMerge crash on me when performing a file comparison on a header file (pic attached).

I updated the Vault Client to the most recent version, but it didn't help.

It seems to work fine with many other files. The files that fail are all 420KB or larger.

Hello,

What version of DiffMerge do you have installed? Could you also provide me with details in regards to your OS? Does the crash happen for other users when diffing the same file?

Could you possibly email one of the files that causes a crash to support@sourcegear.com so we can try to reproduce the issue?

Yes, crashes on other developer machines.
Example file is attached. I had to zip it to work-around the upload size limit.

Can you please provide me with the exact steps you are taking to reproduce the problem?

Another suggestion is to download the standalone DiffMerge application to see if the problem still exists is this edition:

I suspect you need the two versions of the file (attached) to reproduce the problem.

Thank you for sending both files over. I was able to reproduce the problem and we are currently looking into it. I will let you know when we have more details to provide.
