Can Shadow Folders have subfolders that are not shadowed?

In Microsoft VSS, it is possible to set a shadow folder for a project and then exclude selected subprojects from being shadowed. So far I have not been able to duplicate this behavior in Vault. Is it possible? If not, is it a consideration for future releases?

We don't support this as a shadow folder configuration step. One thing that *might* work is to cloak those folders. You would need to bring up a GUI client and login as the shadow folder user (which I think is Admin by default), and cloak the folders, which shadow folders might or might not honor.

Nonetheless, I'll add it as a feature request to the shadow folder feature itself.
