I'm about to install Vault 8 Pro on a Windows 2008 64bit R2 SP1 server. I've been searching through SG's site but haven't found my exact question so I'm posting here.
Will Vault Pro 8 64bit server work with SQLServer 32 and vice versa? Or should I stick with same bit version on both?
Any pros/cons as to using the 64bit server over 32?
Thanks
Vault Pro 8
Re: Vault Pro 8
The bitness of the SQL server isn't a problem. I'm not sure of the benefits of 64-bit bit SQL over the 32-bit except that 64-bit usually allows more memory addressing. There are scenarios where one can see a performance increase, but there are scenarios where that wouldn't be the case.
