hi there, does anybody know if the feature that allows a user to checkout stuff to another user ID exists in Vault?
there are a few modules I need to turn over to another person, and we don't want to go through the tedious process of unchecking them, then having the other user to check it out to his ID.
is there a simple way with either the command line or the client or website to do that. I don't see anything like it around.
Win 7
Vault Classic 5.x
thanks!

Re: Check out to another user feature
We don't currently have that functionality.
If you already have changes and don't want to check them in, you can use Shelve to save the changes and the other user can unshelve them. That doesn't help with dealing having to undo a check out and have the other user check out, but it does make sure they get your changes.
In addition, the check out is tied to the location it was checked out to. Even if you could perform the check out for that user on your machine, it would have to be checked out on their machine in order for them to check in changes.
