We are currently using VS 2010 and Vault Standard 5.1.1. We are preparing to upgrade Vault to latest version and also to VS 2013. The compatibility chart shows that v7 is compatible with VS 2010. So I assume we would upgrade in the following order:
1) Vault 5.1.1 to Vault 7.x (latest) Can still use VS 2010 temporarily.
2) Visual Studio 2010 to VS 2013
Can someone confirm that this is correct or not? Also any tips or resources towards the upgrade would be very much appreciated. Obviously both clients, server and VS plug-ins will need upgrading.
Thanks in Advance
Don

Re: Upgrade from Vault Standard 5.1.1
Looks like a good plan.
When upgrading your projects in Visual Studio, the files need to be writable. It would be good to have them checked out so that VS can made changes.
