Operation failed - $/

Hi All

We are suddenly experiencing an issue with SOS v 5.0.1 where we get a "Operation failed - $/" failed message when we try and sync.

Its possible to connect to the server using VSS directly and use it normally which says to me all is OK with the physical and routing side of things. SOS has worked fine and as far as I am aware nothing should have changed (clearly something has).

Never had a problem before and I have run out of ideas.

Can anyone help with this?

Check the SourceOffSite service. Is it still running? That can be found under the Services under Administrative Tools.

Did any Windows updates happen last night?

Could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread? Include the log file, called log.txt, from the SourceOffSite directory on the server.
