We've been using VS 2005 and Vault 6.0 with the enhanced client. We're now transitioning to VS 2012, but will continue to use VS 2005 during the transition, so both will be installed on our workstations.
After we installed VS 2012, only the classic client is shown as an option in the VS 2012 IDE. Do we need to re-install the Vault 6.0 client in order to select the Visual Studio Enhanced Client? We'll be able to use both IDE's with the enhanced client, right?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Enhanced client with VS 2012
The Vault Client installer creates the registry keys in the Visual Studio hive that enable integration.
So if VS 2012 was installed after the client, then yes, you need to reinstall Vault Client. I would recommend upgrading to Vault 6.1 (for both client and server), since there were some bug fixes and additional functionality added in that release:

It's a free upgrade. Backup your databases and run the installers over the existing installations of client and server.

Re: Enhanced client with VS 2012
Thanks Linda, we will be updating to 6.1 at some point.
Just to be clear, if both VS2005 and VS2012 are installed first, and then a Vault client (either 6.0 or 6.1) is installed, the enhanced client will be enabled for both IDE's?

Yes. The registry entries for Visual Studio (2005 and later versions) must be there first, otherwise the Vault Client installer can't add the integration keys.
