Hello:
I am seeing something odd that I didn't expect. I am using VS.NET 2012 and the latest Vault 6.10 (531). In Visual Studio, I if right-click a file and select to "Exclude from Project", the file gets delete from my local drive. If I choose to "Include the File again", it gets added back to the project, but it is missing. It remains in the repository, but is now listed as missing. I can easily go in the Vault client and do a Get Latest and the file comes back.
This seems strange to me. I would expect that the file would remain in the local disk unless I choose to delete it. I sometimes quickly exlude a file, then include it back in, so this has become cumbersome.
Is this a bug, or expected behavior? I do not recall this happening with previous versions, not sure if it is a Vault issue or a VS.NET issue.
Thanks,
Chris

When I perform an Exclude from Project while Vault is connected, it offers to delete the item from source control. I do see that if you allow it to remove from source control that it is deleting from disk.
I will log a bug for this.

Can you tell me if you get an additional dialog box that offers to remove the excluded item from source control after you select Exclude from Project?
What type of project is this issue happening in for you?
