Maximum number of subfolders and files

What are the maximum number of subfolders and files that can be in any one folder in a repository?

We've never really set limits, as it depends on how large a repository you can handle, and how much storage there is in SQL Server, hardware resources, etc.

It's not unusual for users to have half a million files, and 50-60,000 folders.

Maybe if you can tell me a little bit about what kind of projects you want to put into Vault, and how much space you need, then I can give you better answer.
