Question about "Remove Local Copy"

Post by dahouse » Thu Aug 19, 2004 5:11 am

When I check "Remove local copy" during the check in process, I notice that only the files that were changed are removed. Is this by design? If, so can you explain how this feature is most likely used? I was expecting that it would remove the local copy of all files being checked in.

Thanks is advance for you help.

-Bret

If you have your options set to undo the checkout of an unchanged file (instead of checking it in), then there is probably a bug related to removing the local copy. Can you check whether that option is on?

Hey Dan. Yes, I do have the "Check in Unchanged Files" option set to "Undo Check Out" - see attached screen shot.

Thanks - I'll log it as a bug.
