I'm trying to demo this to see if it meets future needs
I installed a new VSS Server and created a blank database. I added some projects to the database.
I then preceeded to install SOS Sever 4.02. and told it to use the SourceSafe database that I created. That all worked fine. I was able to login ok but all I saw a root dir with none of the projects that I had added from VSS.
So i used SOS to create some projects then closed the tool. I opened up VSS and none of the projects that I added in SOS were visable.
Can I not see projects created in VSS inside of SOS and vise verse? If I'm doing something wrong can someone hlep me please
Thanks

The SOS Client keeps a cache of the project tree. If you add a project with VSS, you must refresh the SOS project tree from one node above where the project was added, or from root.
This command is found in the SOS Client under the View menu.
I'm not sure why you didn't see the VSS folders the first time.
