Vault 5.0.2.18753
I didn't see this as an existing request so thought I'd add one. I would like to see another level of logging on the server that is somewhat in between the Quiet and Debug modes currently offered.
We have problems at times and they are intermittent so to turn on Debug after the fact makes it difficult to ever see a message about the problem and then we end up with a slow server due to the amount of logging.
It would be great if there was an mid range logging mode that just logged brief messages about the current transaction.
For example, right now in quiet mode it logs log ins and errors but it does not log when someone checksin, out, whatever and so when a users client hangs on a checkin I can't tell if they ever actually talked to the server after they logged in. It would be great if it at least logged a brief message similar to the login one, it doesn't need all the extra info but just the action the user took. Hopefully that level wouldn't slow the server down significantly.
Thanks,
J

I've entered a feature request. Thank you for your feedback.
Another place you may look for information is the client-side log. That is called VaultGUIclient.txt and is found on the user's machine in %username%\Local Settings\Temp or %username%\AppData\Local\Temp.
