SOS server connection lost, sos server not installed

I am getting this msg and when I restarted the SOS service the database is invisible while logging. but I am able to logon using Visual Source Safe client. Please resolve this.

What version of SOS are you using? What operating system is it installed on?

Please post or email me a copy of the log.txt file in the SOS Server directory on the server machine.
