Pending Change Set - Takes Longer to Check-In

Using v5 and I have my solution (VS 2008) set to check everything in when closing. It seems like it takes longer with pending change set process now, maybe because of the treeview? I prefer faster so if I could lose or disable the treeview, if this was an option, and it made things faster, that would be my preference.

Hello, Neal. Here's something you might try:
Next time you check in (or out), click on the "List" tab in the dialog. This is essentially the same view as we had in the old version, and it is faster to load.

Your choice will be remembered, and subsequent checkins will default to the List view. In my tests this made a big difference in speed.
Please let us know if you see a speed increase, and if this addresses your concerns.

Yes, I do that, wasn't sure if ALSO the Tree was being populated.

When you do this, does it seem to be as fast as it was in the older version?
