Vault 5.0 Server Requirements

Hi,

The System Requirements page for Vault 5.0 (http://sourcegear.com/vault/sysreq.html) says that Windows 2000 is supported for both client and server. However, when I try to run the Vault 5.0 server msi file on Windows 2000 SP4 the installer displays the following message: "Sourcegear Vault Server cannot be installed on systems earlier than Windows XP x86"

Update (just a few minutes later): However, the "system requirements" link next to the Server download link only shows XP/2003 and above, so I guess these two system requirements are in conflict. In any case, I have a 2003 box to install to...

Sorry, you found a system requirements page that didn't get updated. The installer is behaving correctly. The server no longer supports Windows Server 2000, since Windows Server 2000 can't install the 3.5 .Net Framework. Since the client depends on 2.0, it can support Windows 2000. Thanks for pointing out our oversight. We'll get that page updated.

Thanks Jeremy. I installed Vault 5 on a Windows 2003 machine and everything went like clockwork. Nice!
