unable to obtain project rights

I’m researching a problem with very slow performance on our SOS servers (to MSVSS). In the log there are repeated entries for “Unable to obtain project rights for XXXX in project YYYYY”. I cannot find a reference for what could be causing this error. We are able to access the data but it’s much slower than normal.

What version of SOS are you using? We had reports of this in SOS 3.5.3 and in 4.0. We made some changes since then and this problem should be fixed in SOS 4.0.2.
